OFCCP Announces FY2019 Audits

Ready, Set, Certify: OFCCP Releases Mandatory Annual AAP Certifications

Federal ProcurementOn March 25, 2019, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) published the list of contractors that are scheduled to receive Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters (CSALs).  CSALs are courtesy letters OFCCP sends to contractors to alert them that one or more of their establishments will likely be scheduled for an OFCCP audit in the coming months.  The list published by OFCCP informs contractors of the facilities to be reviewed, as well as the type of review.  Of the 3,500 establishments listed (about 1,200 unique companies), 2,345 Contractors were selected for an establishment review, 500 contractors for a compliance check, another 500 contractors for a 503 review, 83 contractors for a Corporate Management Compliance Evaluation (CMCE) review, and 72 contractors for a Functional Affirmative Action Program (FAAP) review.  Contractors not identified on the list can still be selected for an audit.

CSALs give contractors a good opportunity to review their practices and prepare for an audit. We previously discussed some proactive steps contractors can take if they receive a CSAL.
